Over the past 6 months we have been upgrading the IAM Cloud platform and as part of next phase of this work, we will be decommissioning our legacy DNS services on 30 March 2016.
If you have been a customer with IAM Cloud for longer than 6 months you will have been asked to configured DNS forwarders to allow single sign-on to work during the Onboarding process. These forwarders are no longer required as we have upgraded our service considerably.
If you use Active Directory and integrated DNS you will have been asked to create the forwarders as 'conditional forwarders' in DNS Microsoft Management Console (MMC). To remove them please delete any entries named 'federate365.com'.
If you use a non-integrated DNS service or have public DNS provided by a 3rd party please refer to their documentation or support teams to remove the 'federate365.com' forwarders.
If you are not using Active Directory to handle the internal DNS conditional
forwarding please refer to your ISP or DNS provider.
