Problem Description

After changing a classification, an object does not appear in any of the end system, the object may not appear in MetaDB or possibly as a deleted object.



 

Solution


If HybridFIM is being used the object may possibly be in the Explicit Disconnector and may need to be manually joined.




Solution Description


The Portal will do this properly in the near future and will run a full sync when we change classifications.


To manually do this process you can either run a full sync (ONLY IF IT IS A SMALL CUSTOMER) or you can find a specific user and sync that manually.


Full Sync

To run a full sync: load the engine tool and select the correct region. Pick the customer by name or tenancy guid and select the Source for Objects connector you wish to sync. Select the RunProfile as Sync and JobType as Full. You can then click Send to Queue.


Single User

Load the engine tool and select the correct region. Pick the customer by name or tenancy guid and select the Source for Objects connector that you wish to sync. Select the Single User Sync button and then search for your user by an attribute you know, then click Search.


You should get a row returned. If no row is returned: the user does not exist in the connectorspace. You can then right click the row and click Sync.
