CDM Troubleshooting: Drives mapped but not visible : IAM Cloud Support

Drives not showing in Explorer

This troubleshooting article relates to our product Cloud Drive Mapper


Issue: Cloud Drive Mapper has mapped the drives and reports them as mapped but they are not seen within Explorer.


The most likely cause for this is that a certain permission hasn't been applied to the particular site in SharePoint to which the mapping refers.


There is a tick box that needs to be applied to which ever role the user is a member of. EG SharePoint Visitors > Read Permission


Navigate to SharePoint Site Permissions then follow the direction as described below.


Under >  Site Permissions   >  Browse Directories  -  Enumerate files and folders in a Web site using SharePoint Designer and Web DAV interfaces

Step 1 - Click Permission Levels


Step 2 - Click Read
